Summertime, summertime sum-sum-summertime!
OK, the blog updates haven't been as frequent lately, as a couple of people have pointed out to me. Well, what can I say? It is officially summer after all!
This past weekend was fun. We went Saturday night to the Mable House Ampitheatre to see Little River Band. It had been a long time since we'd been to a concert and one of those ticketmaster spams just happened to catch my interest with Little River Band. I liked a lot of their music way back in the day so I thought it might be fun. It was a great concert -- it greatly exceeded my expectations. It was also fun going to an ampitheatre -- it was the first time I've ever been to one as far as I can remember. We enjoyed it so much that when we got back we checked the schedule and found another concert we want to go to later in the year, when the Atlanta Symphony will be performing. Should be lots of fun. We had reserved seating but they also have a big lawn section where you can lay out a blanket, etc. You can bring your own coolers, etc. It was pretty neat.
A couple of weekends ago we saw "Stepford Wives". It was OK I guess, nothing too spectacular. Really the only part that kept my interest was Nicole Kidman. I have never seen the original movie and now I want to.
Not a lot else exciting going on at the moment so I'm outta here!
