Pat Tillman: A fallen American hero in Afghanistan ...

We should all be grateful for the brave men and women who are serving their country, wherever they may be. Every life is precious, and I'm saddened whenever I hear about casualties. But in the news today is something that really got to me.

I remember awhile back hearing about the football star who was so affected by 9/11 that he gave up a lucrative NFL career to volunteer for the Army Rangers. His name was Pat Tillman. I remember thinking how awesome it was, that someone in his position loved his country so much that he preferred to serve that country, when he could be a millionaire. Sadly, he has been killed in action. What can I say? A true American patriot, a true American hero. Today is a very sad day.
