Thanks a lot!

I was delighted to hear on the news this morning that those Christian peace activists were rescued from their terrorist captors in Iraq. I'm also impressed that, true to their Christian faith, they are able to forgive their captors. What does not leave a favorable impression with me is the complete lack of gratitude towards the American and British troops that freed them! Check out their organization's press release. They don't even acknowledge that they were rescued, much less show any appreciation. They just state that they were "released unharmed", as if the terrorists turned out to be nice guys after all. They even go so far as to take the opportunity to bash our efforts over there in their press release.

The Iraqi insurgents and Al-Qaeda must be having a good laugh at us stupid Americans.
