I'm looking forward to the weekend, plan on going to see The Bourne Supremacy and/or Manchurian candidate. I may also take a ride on the bike. It's been awhile and I've been slacking on my exercise lately.

Please, please, PLEASE let this be true.

So we saw "The Village" Friday night. It has gotten mixed reviews (none of which I saw until afterwards). Donna and I went with another couple and we all really enjoyed it. Donna said it's her favorite M. Night Shamalamadingdong movie (yeah, right, like I can remember how to spell his name). The list of movies in which this one ranks in the top for her includes "Sixth Sense", "Unbreakable" and "Signs" . In fact, her exact ranking goes: The Village, Signs, Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. My ranking goes: Signs, Sixth Sense, The Village, Unbreakable. Which means I thought it was pretty good, and nowhere near as bad as some of the critics suggest.

We saw I, Robot a few weeks ago. It was OK for a mindless action flick. Against my better instincts, I think I want to go see The Manchurian candidate. I immensely enjoyed the original and this one probably won't be nearly as good, but, well, I just can't help myself. Also want to see "The Bourne Supremacy", but, since most of the reviews I've seen have been favorable, it will probably suck. What a bummer.
